Waddesdon Dairy Wedding Photography
Set in the Aylesbury Vale in the Home County of Buckinghamshire is the spectacular Waddesdon Manor, a beautiful Grade I listed country house, built in the 19th Century for the Rothschild family. The mansion was the family country retreat for more than a century, before being bequeathed to the National Trust. Within the grounds of the house lies the enchanting Dairy at Waddesdon Manor, which now provides a romantic setting for the perfect wedding. It’s a stunning wedding venue, so I was delighted when Louise and Ian commissioned me for their Waddesdon Dairy wedding photography.
The Dairy Waddesdon Manor Wedding
I began my photography with Louise at her parents house where she was getting ready with her bridesmaids. It was a short stop, as they were travelling on to the Dairy before getting dressed where I would finish off the preparation pictures before the wedding ceremony. Before that, I managed to capture Ian and the groomsmen at the nearby Five Arrows Hotel, another part of the Estate at Waddesdon. Once dressed, they headed across the road to St Michael and All Angels Church on the High Street in Waddesdon to get ready for Louise’s arrival.
Documentary Wedding Photography at Waddesdon Manor
After a beautiful ceremony, conducted by Louise’s cousin, guests gathered outside the church in the sunshine to congratulate the newly weds before we all walked the short distance over to the Dairy. The courtyard there is the perfect setting for a drinks reception. The beautifully kept grounds also gave me a great setting for some quick family group photos before the wedding breakfast and speeches started. Later on, guests could enjoy the waterside setting as the room was prepared for the evening party. The whole venue made my style of documentary wedding photography a perfect fit for Louise and Ian’s wedding.

I think wedding photography is the trickiest thing to manage, I mean; you want them natural but also to pose. Capturing someone in their element is quite difficult to start with. And, you seem to have done a great job. Worth the money spent and the time invested for the same.
