An Autumn Wedding at Stoke Place
Claire and Perry’s Autumn wedding at Stoke Place was an absolute pleasure to photograph! You’ve just got to have a look at the pictures to see how much fun they and all their family and friends were having. And that’s despite the good old British weather delivering a full day of rain. This did not spoil the enjoyment on the day one bit. Even though the guests couldn’t venture out to enjoy the beautiful grounds and lake at Stoke Place, the hotel provided the perfect location for a fun-filled day and evening party.
Wedding Preparations At Stoke Place Hotel
Claire’s preparations were at the hotel, while David photographed the guys getting ready before travelling on to the church. By the time the Bridesmaid’s car arrived at St Anthony’s church the rain had settled in for the day, so it was quick dashes between the cars and the church entrance. The church has a balcony, so David was able to get an alternate view of Claire and her Father as they walked into the ceremony. Afterwards we managed to get some small family group photos done in the shelter of the entrance, while the rest of the guests took a double decker bus back to Stoke Place for the reception.
Documentary Wedding Photography in Buckinghamshire
Claire and Perry are in the food industry, and there was plenty of reference to that in the details around the venue (check out the back of that cake!) The Garden Room made a great venue for an intimate reception allowing us to get some great documentary photography. Guests then had the wedding breakfast in the banqueting hall before the dancing and evening party back in the Garden Room.
