Documentary Style Surrey Wedding Photographer

Nearly all of my clients have one thing in common when they book me as their Surrey wedding photographer.

They love photography, but don’t want to spend half their wedding day posing for photos.

I use 20 years experience as a news photojournalist at The Times newspaper in London to tell beautiful, engaging stories at weddings. It means my clients forget about the photography and spend more time with their loved ones. They get some great memories from their wedding day, and I’m there to capture them as well as all those moments they missed. Check out more about my style of documentary wedding photography.

Surrey Wedding Venues

Living in another of the Home Counties, Hertfordshire, I get a lot of opportunity to provide my services as a Surrey wedding photographer through the year. It’s a great county, with plenty of superb wedding venues. And because of it’s proximity to the capital, it’s convenient for London based clients.

From the Bijou wedding venues, Cain Manor South of Farnham, and Botley’s Mansion near Chertsey through to the historic Farnham Castle and Nonsuch Mansion near Epsom, there’s plenty of choice in the county. My Summer of wedding photography wouldn’t be complete without several trips to these Surrey venues. If you’re based in nearby Hampshire, Sussex or Kent, and are looking for somewhere for your celebration, please check out some of my photography below.

Superb Connections and Locations

With such diverse wedding venues and the stunning English countryside, Surrey is a great county to escape the city of London for a wedding celebration. The South East county borders Kent, Sussex, Berkshire and Hampshire as well as Greater London to the North. Because of it’s proximity to London and it’s natural beauty, it’s a popular commuter county with towns like Guildford, Epsom and Ewell, Reigate and Woking. But it also has the highest proportion of woodland in England, made up partly from Windsor Great Park as well as the Surrey Hills. With Heathrow and Gatwick airports close by, it has great transport links for wedding guests from further afield.

Here’s some of my recent work as a Surrey wedding photographer. If you like this style of natural wedding photography, please check out more throughout the site, then get in touch to check your date.

Church Wedding in Farnham Lizzie and Nathan’s Church wedding in Farnham began with Lizzie’s preparations at home with her maid of honour, Daisy.
