Summer Wedding in Ticehurst
I was really excited when Rebecca and Mark got in touch last year to book me for their Summer wedding in Ticehurst. For a small village in Sussex, I’ve photographed more than my fair share of weddings there, including Rebecca’s twin sisters wedding to Cristiano. Five years later, I’m back to document another family wedding. It’s great to see some familiar faces, and to catch up with Jessica and Cristiano and their beautiful new son as well.
St Mary’s Church Wedding
After a busy morning of preparations, we headed into the village to St Mary’s Church for the wedding ceremony. Rebecca arrived in style with her Father at the wheel of a classic Morgan. It was a windy end to July, and hats and dresses were held tightly on the way into church. After a lovely ceremony, we took a few minutes for some family group pictures outside church, before the newly weds left in the Morgan back to Rebecca’s parent’s home.
Gorgeous Sussex Countryside
Sussex valleys like this one were made for Summer wedding days, and it couldn’t have been any more perfect. Guests enjoyed some drinks and canapés in the garden, before heading into the marquee for dinner and speeches. My coverage finished as the party got underway beneath the summer star filled night. Enjoy the highlights slideshow above, and do get in touch if you’d like to check your date. You may like to see a Tipi wedding in Buckinghamshire, or maybe this Summer wedding at Queen’s House.
