The Langham Wedding Photography
I’ve been fortunate enough to have photographed at The Langham Hotel in London several times as an editorial photographer, but this was my first time providing The Langham wedding photography for Sharon and Ralph’s Jewish wedding towards the end of the Summer. It’s a magnificent venue for a wedding celebration and party, with varied settings throughout the building. This wedding was at the end of a spell of hot and sunny weather which broke with thunder showers. So sadly, the planned outdoor ceremony was moved back into the Ballroom.
Veiling Ceremony
While I documented Sharon’s preparations, David caught up with Ralph greeting the guests as they arrived for the ceremony. Before the wedding ceremony, we both photographed the Badeken, or veiling ceremony, before heading back into the ballroom where the guests and chuppah were located. After the wedding ceremony guests enjoyed a drinks reception, while we took some family group pictures. Before long, it was time to head back into the Ballroom where the Bride and Groom kicked off the party celebrations with some traditional Israeli dancing. It’s always a lot of fun to photograph!
The benefit of working as a London wedding photographer is that I get to shoot at stunning hotels like this!
