Church Wedding at Wasing Park
Amy got ready in the stunning bridal suite before her Church Wedding at Wasing Park. It really is a great space for preparations before the wedding ceremony, especially if your wedding as at St Nicholas’ Church in the grounds of Wasing Park – just a couple of minutes’ walk from the Bridal Suite. The fabulous thing about this wedding was that Andy’s father was taking the ceremony. I’ve photographed a few weddings where one of the couple’s parents is the vicar taking the ceremony, and the photography always has great meaning for the couple. The 15th Century church is the perfect setting for a wedding at Wasing Park.
Summer Reception in the Garden Room
After the church ceremony, guests helped celebrate with confettii as the newly-weds walked from the Church down the gravel path. We took a few minutes to get some quick family group photos done before everyone headed off to the Garden Room for refreshments. There was great light and sunshine for this part of the day, making my job of documenting everyone having fun very easy! Before long, guests were called into the Barn where the speeches and wedding breakfast took proceedings on to the dancing and party.
