North Cadbury Court Wedding Photography

Although I’m a wedding photographer based in Hertfordshire and London, I’m lucky enough to be commissioned to photograph weddings across the country. Somerset has some super wedding venues, so I was delighted when Anna and Simon contacted me for their North Cadbury Court Wedding Photography. It also gave me the opportunity to work with the super talented Rex Preston, one of the photographers I regularly work with on weddings. Rex is based in Exeter, so he was the perfect second photographer for this wedding.

A Superb Country House Wedding Venue in Somerset

North Cadbury Court is a really special kind of country House. The beautiful Grade I 16th Century Manor House is set in 1500 acres of Somerset countryside. With its 25 bedrooms and dining room and ballroom, it’s the perfect setting for a wedding celebration in style. Available for exclusive hire, family and friends can make use of the lawn tennis courts, lake, roof-top golf tee, indoor swimming pool and spa. Only a couple of hours from London, it’s possibly the perfect place for a Country House wedding.

Clay Pigeon Shoot with the Groomsmen

Our coverage began with Rex photographing Simon and the groomsmen getting their eye in with some clay pigeon shooting, while I started photography with the preparations at North Cadbury Court. Once everyone was ready, it was just a couple of minutes walk to the stunning St Michael’s Church where Anna and Simon’s wedding ceremony was held.

The Autumn weather delivered some great sunshine and light as the newly weds and friends headed back to the house for the drinks reception. It’s a beautiful setting for documentary wedding photography, and we captured some great moments before the wedding breakfast in the dining room.

Fireworks At North Cadbury Court Wedding

After the wedding breakfast and speeches we headed back out for some evening sparklers and fireworks, before some thoroughly great dancing kicked the evening party off.
