Fulham Palace Same Sex Wedding
What a fun wedding this was to photograph! Miguel and James planned their Fulham Palace same sex wedding for May last year. But I’m only getting round to blogging it now as it’s just been featured in the international Gay Weddings and Marriage Magazine! If you’re researching your gay or same sex wedding, the magazine is a wealth of inspiration. It features real weddings from around the world, as well as some great planning tips and superb vendors that may make planning your wedding a whole lot easier.
Documentary Wedding Photography at Fulham Palace
There are some superb wedding venues across London, with something for every taste. If you’re looking for an impressive venue for your marriage, with unparalleled history, this could be the place for you. The Grade I listed building sits alongside Bishops Park, and used to be the main residence of the Bishop Of London. It’s still owned by the Church of England, but is now run by the Fulham Palace Trust. Following some extensive restoration, the Palace now houses a museum and is available for wedding hire. With it’s 13 acres of botanical gardens, and gorgeous Tudor and Georgian rooms, it lends itself to great natural documentary wedding photography extremely well. There’s an abundance of natural light, and some great architectural features in the Palace and the courtyard that makes interesting angles easy to find.
Miguel and James’ Same Sex Wedding
From the moment Miguel first got in touch, I knew this would be a fun filled day to photograph! From their ceremony in the Great Hall, to the reception in the courtyard and wedding breakfast in the Chaplain’s Garden Marquee, the laughter never stopped! Check out some of my favourite images from this Fulham Palace same sex wedding below, including how Gay Weddings and Marriage magazine featured the day recently. Then please get in touch if you’re interested in my natural documentary style of wedding photography.
