Burloes Hall Wedding Photography, Royston, Hertfordshire
Having not photographed a wedding in my home County of Hertfordshire for some time, two come along in a couple of weeks! First was Louise and Richards Minstrel Court wedding, then a super church ceremony followed by a marquee reception in the gardens of a gorgeous country house for this Burloes Hall wedding photography. We started out in Royston in Hertfordshire, where Cecilia was getting ready at the town’s Banyers House Hotel. While I photographed there, Rosie headed over to meet Dean and the groomsmen having a quick pre-wedding pint in the pub across the road from the church.
A Church Ceremony in Royston
By the time Cecilia and her bridesmaids were in the wedding car for a short loop round the town, St John the Baptist church was full of their family and friends. Following the ceremony and register signing, their family and friends saw the newly weds off in their wedding car, and we all headed up to Burloes Hall for the wedding reception.
The Queen Anne style country house has unrivalled view over the Hertfordshire countryside The marquee, set on the front lawns, makes a perfect setting for a summer wedding reception. After some couple portraits in the immaculate gardens, we were met by Bertie, Cecilia and Dean’s excited dog who had arrived in his finest wedding attire for some portraits. As the guests sat down for the wedding breakfast, we were treated to a brief flypast of a collection of vintage aircraft from the Flying Legends Airshow at nearby Duxford. Following the dessert came some entertaining speeches before the party got going on the dance floor.
Here’s some of our favourite pictures from this superb wedding at Burloes Hall. If you’re planning a marquee wedding, check out this Sussex garden marquee wedding, or this Marquee wedding in Dorset. Also have a look at some nearby Luton Hoo wedding photography.
