Church Hall Wedding Reception With A Personal Touch
This Oxford wedding at St Ebbe’s Church in the City Centre was so full of love and joy, right through to the church hall wedding reception. Just look at the Brides face in the picture above – the moment she and the Groom see each other for the first time on their wedding day, tears of joy streaming down her cheeks. That moment happens once in a couples’ lifetime, and it’s a great privilege to be asked to be the photographer that captures it.
Get The Best Coverage With Documentary Photography
I knew even before the wedding, that I’d get some great pictures here. Although I hadn’t met Pod and Sarah until the wedding day, I’d chatted with them a few times on the phone, and their love for each other was obvious. But it also became clear how much they valued high quality documentary wedding photography to record their wedding day. On the day itself, I spent a few minutes taking a handful of family group photographs, and 15 minutes at Pembroke College, Oxford for some portraits. The rest of the day I had a free reign to document the day how I saw it.
Party In The Church Hall
After the ceremony, and the formal groups and portraits, all the guests headed off to the quiet Oxfordshire village of Little Milton, where the Village Hall had been beautifully decorated for the wedding reception. Curry was on the menu, with a portable oven being used to create the freshest naan bread to accompany it. After some wonderfully moving speeches, the party began, where my coverage came to an end after the first dance.
