Nutfield Priory Hotel Wedding Photography
Courtney and Andrew booked me for their Nutfield Priory Hotel wedding photography after coming across my work by searching Google for a documentary wedding photographer. When a couple find me through such a detailed search term, I know they’ll love my photography and we’ll be a great fit. It sounded like a super day they’d planned, and they were keen that the photography be natural and show off what an exquisite venue Nutfield Priory Hotel is. It’s one of a collection of fine country house hotels run by Handpicked Hotels, and whenever I’ve photographed a wedding at one of their hotels in the past, things have always run very smoothly.
An Elegant Country House Hotel in Surrey
I started my photography with Andrew and his sons who were greeting early guests in the Grand Hall, a beautifully light room with high ceilings and stained glass windows. The Victorian house is inspired by the Palace of Westminster, so there’s amazing architecture everywhere. I soon headed up to document the final preparations with Courtney and the bridesmaids, before everyone assembled downstairs for the wedding ceremony, conducted by celebrant Mark Hayford.
Beautiful Hotel Wedding Venues
After the ceremony, we made use of the garden terrace for some quick family group pictures and portraits of the newly-weds, before heading back inside for the wedding breakfast. Some entertaining speeches ended the meal as the dancing got the evening party under way.
