Church Wedding in Farnham

Lizzie and Nathan’s Church wedding in Farnham began with Lizzie’s preparations at home with her maid of honour, Daisy. After her Father arrived, I headed over to St Andrew’s Parish Church in Farnham. Of all the churches in Farnham, St Andrew’s is very central to the town with excellent acoustics. I found Nathan and his groomsmen greeting wedding guests as they arrived to be seated for the ceremony. Before long, Lizzie and her Father arrived, and walked down the aisle for the start of the wedding service.

Wedding Venues in Farnham

After the wedding ceremony, Lizzie and Nathan left the church through confetti. Before travelling on to the wedding reception venue, guests first headed through Farnham town to the Nelson Arms for some much needed post-wedding drinks. I took a few minutes to make some quick family group photos and couple portraits outside the church, before the bride and groom followed on through the town centre. There’s many great wedding venues in around Farnham, including Farnham Castle, After drinks at the Nelson Arms, everyone made their way to The Yard in nearby Alresford.

Wedding Reception Near Farnham

The Yard is a fantastic events space in the Candover Valley, just half an hour drive from Farnham. It’s a rural cafe set in a working farm, and prides itself on quality food and drink (I think I had one of the best coffees ever here!). Drinks were served outside, and the cafe had a super selection of cakes, before wedding speeches from Lizzie’s Father and the groom. My coverage ended shortly after the wedding breakfast, just as a vintage ice cream van turned up for dessert.
