A Beautiful Mountains Country House Wedding
I really enjoyed Charlotte and Anthony’s Mountains Country House wedding in Hildenborough, Kent. The 19th Century Grade II listed mansion really is a treat to photograph at. The grounds and gardens gave me lots of locations for some portraits, and the architecture of the house also leant itself to great documentary wedding photography.
But before we got to the celebrations at Hildenborough, I began at Charlotte’s parent’s house where the bridal preparations were in full swing. Some lovely light and happy bridesmaids made for some great story-telling photography, including a lovely reaction from the Father of the Bride when he first saw his daughter. A white wedding taxi took everyone to the church in nearby Dormandsland where the guests were waiting for the ceremony.
After the ceremony everyone headed over to Hildenborough for the reception at Mountains Country House. An amazing marquee was the setting for the wedding breakfast and the first dance.
