A Stunning Hertfordshire Wedding Venue
Alan and Deborah chose the beautiful Hatfield House as their Hertfordshire wedding venue – an historic Palace in the Home Counties with superb access to London and the South East. As a Hertfordshire based wedding photographer, I have the pleasure of working at The Old Palace at Hatfield House several times a year, and it’s always a great day, photographically speaking. We started the coverage at nearby Lawn House, still in the grounds of Hatfield House, and just a couple of minutes walk from the Old Palace. Buy, as you’ll see in the slideshow above, Deborah and her Father had a much more stylish mode of transport to the wedding ceremony.
World Cup Distractions
After a beautiful civil ceremony followed by a Christian blessing, the wedding guests made their way outside to the Knot Garden for drinks and canapés. There were Summer lawn games to distract guests from the World Cup match where England were on their way to victory against Sweden, and the super talented Sam Lewis entertained with his guitar. When the wedding breakfast was served, guests headed back into the grandeur of the Old Palace, with speeches following. The party got kicked off with Sam and the rest of his band filling the dance floor.
Sparkler Exit
As the celebration drew to a close, the newly-weds left the Palace through a corridor of sparklers as they headed back to the nearby Lawn House. If you’re planning a wedding in Hertfordshire, or anywhere else (I travel all over the place for weddings!) please head over to the contact page and fill out the form so I can send you some more details. Enjoy some of the highlights from Deborah and Alan’s wedding day below. Have a look at some more of my work as a Hertfordshire wedding photographer.
