Natural Dodford Manor Wedding Photos
I really enjoyed photographing this Dodford Manor Wedding in rural Northamptonshire. But it wasn’t the venue, a stunningly restored 17th Century barn, or the fantastic stormy light that made this such a pleasure to photograph. It was the people. A fun-loving couple with warm hearted guests, who were having a wonderful time celebrating with Tina and James. You just have to look through some of this documentary wedding photography to see how much joy and laughter was present here. Check out some of these beautiful Dodford Manor wedding photos.
Windswept Wedding
The weather on the day of the wedding was a little unpredictable, with some heavy showers followed by brilliant sunshine, topped off with a brisk breeze. The guests had travelled from all over, but mainly from Tina’s German home and the North East of England as well as London and the South East. Once all the guests were gathered in the barn, Tina and James walked down the aisle together to one of their guests impressive singing, to start the ceremony.
Mini Car Photo Booth
Following the ceremony was a drinks reception where everyone had the chance to use the unique Photo Booth in a Union Jack emblazoned Mini car. We also ventured out into the windy Northamptonshire countryside for a very quick portrait session, before the meal and speeches. A great day of documentary photography finished with the band filling the dance floor towards the end of the evening.
