A Scottish Wedding At BAFTA and Caledonian Club London
A Scottish wedding at BAFTA, 195 Picadilly in the heart of London, was always going to have style. Even more so when the guests only had a very short walk to the drinks reception there after a beautiful ceremony at St James’s Church on Picadilly. The guests weaved through the busy market outside the Christopher Wren church, where Paul had already arrived in a vintage Rolls Royce.
Bagpiper at a London Wedding
This is a great city, and always provides superb documentary wedding photography. Vanessa and her Bridesmaids met her husband to be before they both walked down the aisle at the start of the ceremony. After a beautiful ceremony, a piper led the couple and the rest of the congregation a couple of doors down Picadilly to BAFTA’s headquarters where a champagne reception was waiting.
A Stylish Arts Venue For A Wedding In London
BAFTA is a pretty stylish venue for a wedding, a truly unique setting in London. There were plenty of opportunities for guests to congratulate the newly weds before speeches and toasts in the David Lean room. But the real party was later that evening at the Caledonian Club, a private members club in Belgravia, a truly fitting venue for a Scottish groom. With the stags heads, and thistle flower arrangements, the dancing could only have been a Ceilidh. Scroll down to see some of the dancing! And if you were a guest at this wedding, get the passcode from Vanessa and Paul, then head over to the Client Page to have a look at some more pictures.
