Surrey Wedding Photos at Oaks Farm
Surrey wedding photos at Oaks Farm are all about relaxed celebration, natural moments, and genuine emotion – and Louise and Joe’s day captured that perfectly. When Joe first got in touch, he explained they weren’t into posing and wanted natural photography that felt easy and unobtrusive. Oaks Farm, with its peaceful gardens and gentle countryside feel, is a wonderful space for that approach, offering endless pockets of calm light and character.
Louise spent the morning getting ready at home, surrounded by her bridesmaids, family, and a joyful buzz of anticipation. Meanwhile, Joe and the groomsmen prepared nearby, sharing a few laughs and steadying pre-ceremony nerves. Once everyone was ready, the cars headed toward Oaks Farm for a civil ceremony filled with connection, warmth and two personal readings that set the tone for the celebration.
A Relaxed Ceremony and Confetti Moments
The ceremony began at 1pm in Oaks Farm’s charming barn setting, where natural light and rustic textures created an inviting atmosphere. I worked quietly as Louise made her entrance, capturing Joe’s reaction, subtle glances between family members, and the emotional pauses that make a ceremony feel personal.
When the newlyweds walked back up the aisle, the celebrations began immediately – confetti flying, friends cheering, and plenty of joy in every frame. Afterwards, we moved straight into relaxed group photos with family and close friends. We kept these quick and light so everyone could return to mingling, enjoying drinks, and exploring the pretty garden spaces Oaks Farm is known for.
Speeches, Dancing, and Golden Hour
Speeches took place just before the wedding breakfast – a great moment to gather everyone’s attention before settling into the meal. There were warm words, plenty of laughter, and some brilliant reactions from the guests.
Later in the afternoon, we stepped away briefly for a few relaxed portraits of Louise and Joe. Nothing staged – just a stroll, conversation, and a few quiet moments together. As evening settled in, cake cutting led into the first dance, and the dance floor filled quickly with energy and movement.
Louise and Joe’s celebration at Oaks Farm was everything they hoped for – natural, relaxed, and full of real moments. The perfect Surrey summer wedding.
