A Wedding At St Patricks Church
The roof terrace of the Century Club in Soho, London was the final destination for this fantastic London Wedding after the ceremony at St Patrick’s Church in Soho Square. But before all of that I began by photographing Fiona and Richard’s preparations at the brand spanking new Nadler Hotel, just a few yards from Soho Square. I think the wedding party were the only guests at the hotel, so they had the staffs full attention.
Soho Square, London
Crossing the famous Soho Square, Fiona and her Father entered St Patrick’s Church for a lovely ceremony. The light was good, and illuminated them beautifully as they approached Richard at the altar. After the ceremony there was a pretty exciting 10 minute walk through the bustling streets of Soho to the Century Club. With Fiona coming from Australia, I was keen to get a strong element of ‘London’ into some of the photos for them, and Soho provided several opportunities.
Greek Dancing at the Wedding Reception
The sun kept shining as the reception began on the roof terrace, and Fiona’s Father’s speech at the start of the party set the scene nicely. They had a nice surprise lined up for their guests after the meal as a duo of professional Greek dancers took to the floor for a demonstration, and then led the couple into their first dance. A beautiful day with some great documentary moments.
