Outdoor Wedding at Parklands Quendon Hall
Anisa and Yusuf’s Outdoor wedding at Parklands Quendon Hall in Essex was a full on fun day to photograph. I knew it would be a superb day as soon as I found out that Louise Perry Weddings had done the planning – as usual, the day ran like clockwork. I began by photographing Anisa’s preparations while Emil caught up with Yusuf greeting the guests as they arrived. Soon enough, everyone was seated on the lawn for the outdoor ceremony in the bright Summer sun. Parklands Quendon Hall is such a stunning location for an outdoor Summer wedding. The lawns overlook beautiful countryside, complete with a roaming herd of deer. After the ceremony, guests could enjoy drinks and canapes in the gardens.
Advantages of a Second Photographer
We did some quick family group photos outside and then continues with the documentary coverage of the guests. With large weddings like this, it’s always an advantage to have a second photographer. Emil was able to continue with the story-telling photography while I photographed the groups, and then later on the couple portraits. It also meant that we were able to get some different angles during the ceremony, with Emil shooting from the first floor of the mansion house to get a sense of the beautiful countryside surrounding Quendon Hall.
