Hindu Wedding at Parklands Quendon Hall
A Hindu wedding at Parklands Quendon Hall is a magnificent blend of tradition, joy, and celebration set against the stunning backdrop of a Georgian mansion and expansive countryside. This elegant Essex venue perfectly complements the vibrant rituals and colors of a Hindu wedding, creating a setting where timeless tradition meets natural beauty.
The Baraat Procession
This was the second part of Hayley and Kav’s wedding celebrations. In case you missed it, here’s the civil ceremony from Hayley and Kav’s multi day wedding at Parklands Quendon Hall. After Hayley’s preparations had begun, the morning continued with the Baraat procession, which can be one of the most lively parts of the day. The groom’s arrival is met with dancing, singing, and drums, setting an energetic tone as family and friends celebrate his entrance.
Hindu Wedding Ceremony
Inside, the ceremony under the Mandap is the heart of the Hindu wedding. The four-pillared structure represents the four parents who have raised the couple, and it becomes the center of sacred rituals, including the Kanyadaan (giving away of the bride) and the Mangal Phera (circumambulation of the fire). Each of these rituals symbolizes the couple’s journey together, and capturing these exchanges—the parents’ heartfelt blessings, the couple’s shared glances—is always powerful and moving.
Wedding Party at Parklands Quendon Hall
After the ceremony, the festivities continued with a lively reception. Guests returned in black tie and soon welcomed the newly-weds onto the dance floor. The party was in full swing by the time my coverage ended.Family and friends, don’t forget to register here to get access to all the photos once they’re ready.
