Outdoor Chuppah at Hatfield House Wedding
I just love weddings at the historic Old Palace, especially when it involves an outdoor Chuppah during the final weeks of Summer. As I edit this wedding a few weeks later, with the sound of cold drizzle on the windows, I’m instantly taken back to the joy and fun that everyone had at Rachel and Daniel’s wedding just a short time ago. That’s the magic of great story-telling photography. Hopefully, that’s what my clients and guest feel when they see the story of the wedding day laid out in photos like these you can see here. Two Photographers or One?
I was fortunate enough to have my good friend David second shooting with me on this wedding. I’ve known David since we experimented with black and white film photography at school, and he regularly works alongside me when a second photographer is needed. So while I was photographing Rachel getting ready, David covered the groom and guests arriving as well as staying with him during the Tish. Then we also had two angles during the ceremony under the Chuppah, and continued documentary coverage as I took the family group photos and portraits.
