Burgh House Hampstead Wedding
London is a city blessed with a variety of stunning wedding venues, each with a unique feel, each resulting in very different images. It’s one of the reasons it’s so great being a wedding photographer in the South East. I was delighted when Audrey and Elliott commissioned me for their Burgh House Hampstead wedding. The North London museum is a great venue for a smaller gathering of friends and family. The Burgh House events team always put on a great day as well. But the day started with a Hampstead Heath wedding over at the stunning Hampstead Pergola and Hill Gardens.
Outdoor Wedding Ceremony
After photographing Audrey and Elliott’s preparations, I joined their guests at the Pergola in Hampstead for the outdoor ceremony. Luckily we had great weather, so the outdoor ceremony was very pleasant. It’s a great space to explore after the ceremony, with beautifully kept gardens giving me good scope for some portraits. The meal and party were just a short walk through Hampstead to Burgh House, where drinks and canapés were waiting.
The Peggy Jay gallery made a great space to enjoy some welcome drinks before the wedding breakfast in the wood-panelled music room. Check out some of the highlight pictures in the slideshow above. As a London wedding photographer, there’s really not many places I get to work in quite like Burgh House. You may also like to see this Summer wedding at Queen’s House, or another Hampstead wedding at the Hill Garden and Pergola.
