Bistrotheque Wedding Venue London
Bistrotheque Wedding Venue London
When Kwesi and Cherelle were planning their Bistrotheque wedding, this is the message they sent me:
“We love the fact that a lot of your photos are not staged and that you simply capture moments from the preparations till the end of the reception. We feel it is these moments that will last a lifetime. The pictures of grandma reaching for a kiss and the aerial shot of the bride, groom and bridesmaids on the stairs are incredible!”
So I knew it would be a special day, and that they really appreciated my style of unposed documentary wedding photography.
Wedding Preparation at The Landmark Hotel
The day started at The Landmark Hotel, one of London’s finest five-star luxury hotels, where Cherelle and her bridesmaids were getting ready, It was just a week before Christmas, so there was a festive feel at the hotel. Once ready, we headed off to West London to capture Kwesi greeting wedding guests as they arrived at Kensington Temple. I’ve previously photographed Dayalan and Julia’s wedding here, so I knew that the church was great for capturing moments. After the ceremony, wedding guests celebrated with confetti, before the newly-weds headed off to one of the best restaurants in East London for the reception.
Bistrotheque London
Bistrotheque London has a reputation for serving the best breakfast in London. But they also have a super space for wedding receptions at their Wadeson Street venue. Like its northern cousin Bistrotheque Manchester, the East London venue serves a superb wedding breakfast. After the food and speeches, Cherelle and Kwesi led the party on the dancefloor, which is when my coverage came to an end.
