Pembroke Lodge Wedding Photography in Richmond Park
Uttam and Preeti’s week long wedding celebrations began at Pembroke Lodge in Richmond Park. Starting with a gathering of family and friends for the legal marriage and a bit of a party. The celebrations were to continue a week later with an Indian Wedding celebration in County Durham. But before we visit that celebration, here’s how the start of the week looked.
Starting The Story With The Groom’s Preparations
Before getting to Pembroke Lodge, I called in to photograph some of Uttam’s preparations with his best men. It’s always nice to be able to photograph the grooms preparations when possible. It’s part of the wedding day that the bride never gets to see, and makes a great start to telling he story of the wedding day in pictures.
I left the guys doing battle with a bow tie and headed over to the brides preparations at Richmond Gate Hotel. It’s just a short walk from Pembroke Lodge and found Preeti and her bridesmaids nearly ready. We had some great sunlight flooding into the bedroom which made documenting the proceedings a real joy. It was then a quick walk over to Richmond Park to meet Uttam and the guests arriving at Pembroke Lodge.
Beautiful Lodge Setting for a Party
It’s a great wedding venue – the Belvedere was built with wedding celebrations in mind. The ceremony was perfect, and the sun shone afterwards. That allowed everyone to spill out onto the terrace overlooking Richmond and the Thames.
After the wedding Breakfast, I photographed the speeches and the start of the party before heading off knowing I’d see everyone again a few days later for Part II of this wedding celebration a few hundred miles North, at Wynyard Hall in County Durham.
Here’s some of my favourite photographs from this wedding – do get in touch if you’d like to check whether I’m available for your Pembroke Lodge wedding Photography! Check out some Luton Hoo wedding photography too.
