Winter Wedding Photos at Chalk Barn
Kate and Tom first got in touch with me about their Winter wedding photos at Chalk Barn in Wiltshire after I was recommended by a good friend and former photographer at The Times. In their initial enquiry, they mentioned that they wanted ‘Natural un-posed shots that capture the spirit of the event and the personalities involved, ie not people in a line – documentary style.’ So I knew we would be a great match, and was looking forward to capturing their wedding day in Wiltshire. Preparations started at the same address, though in separate rooms. Everyone then made their way over to Holy Trinity Church in Easton Royal for the wedding ceremony.
Reception at Chalk Barn
After their marriage at Holy Trinity Church, we managed a quick full group photo before heading off to nearby Chalk Barn, a stunning exclusive use barn near Rushall in Wiltshire. We were heading into full on Winter, and the weather closed in as the light faded. The barn itself was lovely and cosy, the perfect venue for a wedding breakfast and party. There was time for some natural documentary photography at the Barn before dinner was served and the speeches started. My coverage ended after the first dance, once I’d captured some of the party atmosphere.
