Islington Town Hall Wedding Photography
North London Wedding Photography
Islington Town Hall wedding photography represents the very essence of a London wedding. Getting married in a North London Grade II listed building can set the tone for an elegant day of celebration. With so many venues within a short distance, the rest of your day can take any shape you like. But it will begin in one of the four Ceremony Rooms within the Town Hall.
It Suits All Styles and Tastes
Whether it’s the intimacy of the Mayor’s Parlour, or the impressive marble staircase leading to the Council Chamber, there’s something for all tastes at Islington Town Hall. As a documentary wedding photographer, it’s a beautiful venue to photograph. The spacious Council Chamber allows me to move around quickly and quietly, to capture some amazing photographs during the wedding ceremony. After the ceremony, the corridors and marble staircase can provide a great setting for some quick portraits. The grand facade outside makes the perfect setting for some quick family group photos too.
Smaller, Intimate Weddings
The spacious Council Chamber also provides the perfect place for smaller, socially distanced weddings since the 2020 Covid-19 pandemic. The staff at Islington Town Hall are well versed with running wedding ceremonies that comply with government restrictions. A smaller wedding doesn’t mean you have to compromise on the story-telling aspect of your wedding photography. Check out some recent stories from these kind of wedding on the blog.
