Old Royal Naval College Wedding Photographer
A Superb Historic Wedding Venue in Greenwich
I love working as an Old Royal Naval College Wedding Photographer in Greenwich, London, as it has to be just about the ultimate place for documentary wedding photography! It’s perfectly designed buildings, stunning views over the River Thames and incredible history at the centre of time itself, all combine to make this the dream venue to celebrate your wedding.UNESCO called this the ‘finest and most dramatically sited architectural and landscape ensemble in the British Isles’. And with excellent reason, as you can see from some of the weddings below.
The Stunning Painted Hall
Dating back to the 17th Century, the Old Royal Naval College (ORNC) started with The Admirals House, commissioned by Charles II for his new palace. The ‘finest dining hall in Europe’ – The Painted Hall, is the ultimate setting for an elegant wedding ceremony or wedding breakfast. It re-opened in 2019 after some extensive restoration, when Sir James Thornhill’s master work will be displayed in all it’s glory.
Looking For A Old Royal Naval College Wedding Photographer?
I use 20 years experience as a photojournalist at The Times newspaper in London to make beautiful, unposed photography at weddings. It’s the ideal style for couples who love photography, but don’t want to spend their whole day posing for pictures. If you;’re looking for an Old Royal Naval College Wedding Photographer, please check out some of the weddings below to see what this looks like at ORNC. Or perhaps have a look at The Queen’s House wedding photography, just a stones throw from the Old Royal Naval College and an equally stunning London wedding venue.
