Swallows Oast Wedding Photographer
I’ve really enjoyed my work as a Swallows Oast wedding photographer because my style of relaxed, unposed wedding photography really suits this kind of wedding venue. Located at Gibbs Reed Farm in East Sussex, Swallows Oast dates back to the 1830’s. The highlight of the venue is the beautiful oak beamed banqueting hall, complete with minstrels gallery. It’s the perfect setting for a wedding ceremony, being able to seat around 100 guests, as well as some more in the gallery. The hall can then be used for the wedding breakfast, with superb catering from resident chef Russell Webb and his team.
On-Site Bridal Suite
Any self-contained wedding venue wouldn’t be complete without a perfectly appointed Bridal Suite. This fully furnished suite was new for the 2018 season, and includes a main Bridal bedroom as well as a Bridesmaid/make-up room and a walk-in shower. It’s the perfect place for the Bride to get ready on the day of the wedding, with no transport hassle before the ceremony. After the party and dancing has finished, what could be better than taking a few steps to the Bridal Suite?
Outdoor Weddings
Planning an Outdoor Wedding at Swallows Oast? Set amongst some of the best East Sussex countryside, Swallows Trail takes you to some gorgeous countryside views across to Brightling. There’s the option of the licensed Pavilion for Civil Ceremonies, as well as a woodland ceremony. Drinks and canapes can be served amongst the stunning views, as well as taking part in garden gales. You can even arrive at the venue by helicopter if you wish.
